What is Roll-ett.
‘Roll-ett’ is the brand name of a self-rolling concept that allows just that - the automatic rolling of covers/clears etc which serve as doorways, windows, openings, internal boat access etc.

The concept Roll-ett is simple, straightforward, inexpensive and simple to install

Roll-ett can be fitted by professionals or there are DIY type installations available to those capable of carrying out the installation.

How does Roll-ett work?

By simply inserting units – Roll-etts - into sleeves [but not limited to].

The “natural position" of the units is in a rolled state. Therefore when wanting to roll the cover up from an extended i.e. the covering is closed; the units are merely returning to their “natural” position – rolled up.

Roll-ett offers ease of operation, are versatile and have multiple uses -- the same concept but with multiple applications.

What does one purchase?

The units are sold in lengths of 3 m, are stainless steel and have in some instances been modified to suit corrosive environments. Units are purchased either plain, or encased in a PVC sheath, or with a thick durable glue lined sheath.

Units are simply cut to length to suit the particular application – a pair of scissors or tin snips will suffice.

We supply units that have a "force" ranging from 0.25 kg to 50[+] kg – "A size for all applications!"

We do however prefer to err on the side of weaker rather than stronger and use Roll-ett as an aid rather than a tool. Too strong stresses the fabric and associated accessories.

Can Roll-ett be retrofitted to panels?

The installation of Roll-ett can be carried out on both existing and new applications.

In fact the preferred option is to firstly access the completed product and then identify where Roll-ett is to be fitted.

However in the case of a tent/enclosure there may be circumstances where fitting Roll-ett whilst constructing the application may be considered easier.

I am an upholsterer can I add Roll-ett to my list of products?

Yes you most certainly can. The rolls are sold in 3-meter lengths, except for RLT125, sold in lengths of 1.2 meters.

Purchasing in 3-meter lengths enables one to use the required amount and store the remainder until further need.

Roll-ett is a value-added product. Customer interest as well as the number of completed installations, signals a huge demand, therefore redundant stock will not be an issue.

Furthermore we are seeking registration of interest form those organizations that wish to become involved in our concept, either through license agreements or franchise agreements.
